CASE STUDY OF FORD PINTO.

Ford Pinto was a car make it to compete with the market of small cars, where Japanese’s cars were the best, but this car had two huge problems with the design of the car.

1. The fuel tank was behind, so the car exploded very easily in the event of a collision.
2. The body was very weak, which in case of a collision by reach the car deformed and the doors were blocked, trapping the occupants in a car in flames.

This brought a lot problems to the company because people who had the car and had an accident, demanded for a paid.
